1. Forearm Plank

The plank strengthens the abdominal, back and shoulder muscles.

How to do a plank?

To perform a plank, place your forearms on a soft surface and align your elbows below your shoulder (make sure that your arms are parallel to your body). Stay in that position for the maximum time you can do. Each time you do this exercise, try to increase your maximum time.

2. Squats

How to do a plank?

To perform a squat, make sure your back is upright and stand with toes pointed forward. From that position, you want to push your hips back, bend your knees, and lower your body until your thighs are parallel to the floor (think of this like sitting in a chair). 3. Crunch

How to do a plank?

To perform a crunch, begin in laying on your back (recommended on a soft surface) and bending both of your knees (make sure your feet are flat on the floor). Then, place your hands behind your head, hold your elbows out to the sides and pull your abdominals slowly inwards until your head, neck, and shoulder blades are not touching the floor. Hold for a moment and then lower slowly to the start position.
